NICHIA (NIKKO) - Wear-Resistant Tungsten Carbide Welding Rod BK-800K
JIS Z3251 DF3C-700-B

Applications: Welding for overlaying on pump casings, impellers, buckets, crushers, cutter knives, etc.
Usage Characteristics: BK-800K is an alloy primarily composed of C, Cr, and B, and the weld metal exhibits an extremely hard martensitic structure with precipitated chromium carbides and chromium borides.
While it lacks toughness due to its consistently high hardness from the first layer, it shows excellent wear resistance in areas subjected to severe abrasion and sand removal.
Machining is difficult in the as-welded state.
Examples of Weld Metal Hardness (Vickers Hardness HV):
As-welded: Preheating/Interpass 250℃/1 layer 850-940/2 layers 800-900/3 layers 780-830
There are separate product pages for each rod diameter. Please check the rod diameter on the product page (photo is an example).
